この話は、「[kbug-users:04850] bootupするとログインされている設定」として質問して教えてもらったものです。

Re: Project using Freesbie (autologin on FreeBSD using gettytab)にそのものスバリの回答があります。

そのまえにcustomroot

標準のインストールでは、/usr/local/share/freesbie/extra/customroot/というディレクトリがありまして、ここに置いたファイルは最後にFreeSBIE環境にインストールされます。

ただし、customrootを使うときは、conf/freesbie.confに以下のようなエントリが必要です。

EXTRA="customroot"

なので、結構簡単に環境の調整などが可能です。

自動ログインまでの設定

システム側の設定は以下のようになります。

まず、/etc/gettytabに以下のようにエントリを追加します。 今は、(調整のために)rootでログインさせているのでal=rootですが、特定のユーザでログインさせたい時は例えばal=mutohなどとなります。

上記のエントリを使うように、/etc/ttysを修正します。

これで自動ログインできるようになります。

Xの自動起動

あとは、特定のコマンドなどを動かしたければ、.cshrcや.profileにそのコマンドを記述しておけば良いことになります。

例えば、Xを起動してしまう場合は、以下のような感じで行けるでしょう。

ちなみに、FreeSBIEには、Xの自動設定を行ってくれるための拡張がありますので、以下のようにconf/freesbie.confに設定しましょう。

あ、EXTRAに複数のオプションを定義する場合は、以下の様にスペースで区切ります。
